You know how some invites ask you to bring the invitation card along with you? Well, most journalists are too haughty to do that. And certainly not to a press conference, and one of an airline company that’s looking for a government bailout.
Pity no one told Air India’s management that. So, the invite for the press conference of its chairman and managing director Arvind Jadhav loftily asks journalists to bring their invitation cards with them and adds “As seating arrangements are limited, the entry will be restricted to invitees only.” Jadhav’s ‘address’ to the media begins at 4.30 pm and as befits all addresses by important people, the invite asks journalists to be seated by 4.15 pm.
