Paper-less organisations have been the trend in corporate India for some time but the government’s Press Information Bureau has woken up to this cost-saving practice only now. The agency has instructed all its departments to stop issuing hard copies of press releases. That will save it tonnes of paper, but it has, amusingly, left older hands in journalism grumbling.
