Former UN diplomat and Congress leader Shashi Tharoor , who is fond of cricket, walked down memory lane and recalled his school days at St Xavier’s, Kolkata, when he met former Indian cricket captain Sourav Ganguly, also an alumnus of the school, at the Bengaluru airport. Tharoor had passed his high school from the missionary school in Kolkata, which is Ganguly’s hometown. Tharoor later tweeted a picture of the two having a good laugh after Ganguly’s Indian Super League team Atlético de Kolkata defeated Sachin Tendulkar’s Kerala Blasters in the finals played on Sunday.
