Thanks to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), the final of the World Cup hockey championship will not be a washout. The final, scheduled for March 13, was sandwiched between two Indian Premier League (IPL) matches, creating a huge problem for both viewers as well as advertisers. The BCCI, however, agreed to advance the first match to 3 pm and postpone the second one to 9 pm, leaving just enough time for the hockey final which begins at 6 pm. So, both advertisers as well as fans can look forward to an action-packed day, with no clashes except for those on the field.
