In the ministry of steel, a junior parliamentarian from Madhya Pradesh gets to boss over a senior parliamentarian from Chattisgarh. Narendra Singh Tomar is a second-time Member of Parliament heading the ministry, while Vishnu Deo Sai, who was elected to the Lok Sabha from Chhattisgarh's Raigarh constituency for the fourth term, has to work under him as minister for steel in the Bharatiya Janata Party government in the state. This was a point highlighted by the state unit of the Congress, which is clearly short on issues to take up. Sai, however, downplayed the issue with a smile. "He [Tomar] is like my elder brother," he said, which happens to be true since the Cabinet minister is seven years older than the state minister. In any case, both leaders had worked together in undivided Madhya Pradesh and aren't strangers to each other.
