Soon after social activist Arvind Kejriwal alleged that Robert Vadra, son-in-law of United Progressive Alliance Chairperson Sonia Gandhi, had amassed unaccounted money using his influential contacts, the New Friends Colony police station decided to protect the whereabouts of Robert Vadra and his mother Maureen Vadra. When contacted to ask about the residential address of Maureen Vadra who lives in the upmarket colony, the policeman posted at the police station said, “Why are you asking such questions? If we answer it, we will be in trouble. Police station is not a place to ask for residential addresses of high-profile people. We will lose our jobs.”
