Sticky issue

Chewing gum has understandably become an unpopular item in North Block. When an official was briefing the media on a key policy decision in his office, a journalist jokingly reminded him that the microphones may have the chewing gum-like adhesive stuck to them. The official immediately took out a big pack of chewing gum from his desk drawer and offered it around, saying, “There are enough for all of you. After the bugging reports I have stopped eating chewing gum here.”
