While the NCAER's Business Confidence Index has risen to an all-time high of 151.4, the trends are divergent when you look at companies of different sizes. In the current round, while firms that have a turnover of under Rs 1crore saw a sharp hike in their confidence levels (the index rose from 123.1the last time around to 139.1 this time, or a hike of 12.4 per cent, confidence levels fell in the group of firms that have an annual turnover of more than Rs 500 crore ""this fell from 165.9 the last time around to 146 this time around, or a fall of around 12 per cent.
