Suryakanta Patil, minister of state for rural development & parliamentary affairs, has started believing in numerology as the elections draw near. She has changed the way her name is spelt. The Nationalist Congress Party MP from Hingoli in Maharashtra is no longer ‘Suryakanta’ but ‘Suuryakanta’. On Monday, when her boss Raghuvansh Prasad Singh wanted to send her a letter, his officials called her office to re-confirm the spelling of her name.
