Switched off channel

That the Rajya Sabha TV channel is the poor cousin of the Lok Sabha one is obvious since it comes alive only when the House is in session, while the Lok Sabha channel functions through the year. What takes the cake, however, is that the channel doesn’t even provide correct information on its next telecast. So, despite everyone knowing March 1 (Monday) was a holiday on account of Holi, the channel continued to announce: “Next session on Monday, 11 am.”
