Janata Dal (United) leader and spokesperson Sanjay Singh has threatened to prevent Union ministers from entering Bihar if the Centre does not provide adequate flood relief.
Singh, also a member of the Bihar Legislative Council, has said he and his supporters would gherao 7 Race Course Road in New Delhi - the official residence of the prime minister. For the Bharatiya Janata Party leaders in Bihar, Singh's tall claims soon became a source of amusement.
One of them said: "Sanjay has no clue about the security at 7RCR. He and his supporters would not be able to get anywhere near it." Another added: "Let him try to carry out his threat. We shall ensure he gets a proper welcome there."
