At a recent conference in Delhi, Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, spoke of the challenges of spearheading a ministry trying to find its feet. He said that in the last Parliament session, 24 ministries had to answer questions related to skill development; a notable exception was the ministry entrusted with this very task. He joked about no "files" coming to him yet, signalling that his ministry was yet to embark on any formal project.
