There was only one time when there was pin-drop silence during the release of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) manifesto last week and that was when AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal started speaking about "media reforms". Before he continued, Kejriwal paused for a few seconds and made eye contact with the assembled journalists. As if sensing the wrath he might invite, he played on the back foot by merely commenting that self-regulation for the media has not worked and there is a need to frame some rules after consultation.
