The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)'s rout in the Delhi Assembly polls has provided West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee much-needed succour ahead of the by-polls in the state on Friday. She launched another attack on the party - she has been engaged in a bitter battle with the BJP for years now - from the dais at the Rampurhat High School ground in Birbhum, the district she was touring. "Itna laddoo khaya, zero ka zero. Na sarkar-e na birodhi-te (They ate so many laddoos that they posted a big zero. They are neither in the government, nor in the Opposition)," she said, without naming the party.
