Kumar Vishwas, the poet-politician of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), celebrated his 46th birthday on February 10 in the company of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders. BJP leaders Om Mathur, Vijay Goel and Home Minister Rajnath Singh's son Pankaj attended the birthday celebration. Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia was also present. Vishwas, once a lieutenant of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, had fought the 2014 Lok Sabha elections from Amethi against Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi. Vishwas took to Twitter to deny that he was joining another political party - this, after buzz that he was looking to hitch his political wagon to the BJP, with the Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls due in a year.
