The name's Bond

With the James Bond signature tune playing in the background, the organisers of the Goa Ad Fest promised a ‘never done before’ opening ceremony. Ad Club President Bhaskar Das shook a leg with some models on either side as he waited for a surprise from the sea. That it wouldn’t be Ursula Andress who’d emerge from the sea was obvious when the emcee announced “Ladies and Gentlemen, we present to you the sharks of the business …” On cue, AAAI President Madhukar Kamath and Chairman of the Ad Fest Colvyn Harris cut across the waves on water bikes to join Das and formally launch the event with the inevitable bottle of champagne.
