Petroleum Minister M Veerappa Moily was widely criticised by the media for his proposal to extend the term of ONGC Chairman Sudhir Vasudeva beyond the February 28 retirement date. The media alleged that Vasudeva was being given an extension despite having six vigilance cases against him. Asked about this, Moily managed to put up a spirited defence as well as throw in some criticism of the media. "It is all about drama. The media needs dramatics. I am also a dramatist," he said.
