During an informal interaction with Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, a journalist suggested the government consider appointing a co-chairman of the Film and Television Institute of India, which has been embroiled in controversy since the appointment of actor Gajendra Singh Chauhan as chairman. Rathore defended the choice of Chauhan on two grounds. First, he said, Chauhan was a good administrator. Second, there could be only one chairman in an institution. "Even in your home, there is only one chairman, and that is your wife," he quipped.
