At the launch of his T24 mobile services in Hyderabad, Future Group CEO Kishore Biyani said that he often dreamed of ways to gain customer loyalty and had realised that this could only be achieved by providing free mobile services, electricity and petrol. Asked how much his company would invest for providing such incentives, the canny retailer replied: “For dreams there are no investments, you must sleep peacefully.”

So, how much sleep did Biyani put into offering the free talk time that his T24 service provides? Just 18 months, he claims. Clearly, the government has not perfected the art of dreaming — or sleeping as Biyani does!
