Ever wondered why Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee is number three in hierarchy of the Congress party? Going by the thinking of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Mukherjee’s name will always be taken after UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh because of his lucky number which is three. Speaking at a function organised by Ficci, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj blamed Mukherjee’s lucky number 3 for his status in the Congress party. “Since Pranab Mukherjee’s lucky number is 3, he is at number three even in his own party,” she joked.
