AirAsia India has promised to offer quality service to customers, but the airline and its CEO seem to be waiting for the launch of operations to display their good manners to the media. Except for a select few journalists who were invited for interviews, the airline chose to ignore requests for meetings, comments from most media organisations. The airline is entitled to do this, of course, but the fact that its corporate communication team chose to deny that select interviews were being held hardly enhanced AirAsia's image. Instead, journalists who turned up uninvited at the hotel where the interviews were being conducted were asked to leave by the CEO through the hotel staff. Eventually, after some insistence he agreed to address them very briefly, claiming he had to rush for meetings.
