Britain’s new prime minister, David Cameron, during his ‘Prime Minister Direct’ Q&A session at low-cost carrier EasyJet’s headquarters in Luton last week was explaining why he was not feeling obligated to fly British Airways, UK’s flag carrier. He said he would look for value for taxpayers’ money when flying off to international conferences. He said for the last G-20 meeting in Toronto, Canada, he hired an aircraft from Richard Branson’s Virgin Atlantic. He said EasyJet must also feel free to pitch for business from No.10 Downing Street. Saying this, he took a subtle dig at President Barack Obama when he said the economic circumstances did not allow him to fly by something similar to US President’s Air Force One.
