Japanese bank Nomura has kept track of the former staff of Lehman Brothers through the social networking site Facebook, and has hired around 60 per cent of Lehman’s graduate trainees who were asked to go when it went bankrupt. So if you lose your job, don’t get off Facebook – in fact, may be that’s a good time to get on it.
