Madhukar Kamath of Mudra and Colvyn Harris of JWT, two of the organisers of the Goa Ad Fest 2009, were divided over the dress code for the only formal session of the event — the Industry Leadership Conclave. Responding to dress code queries on the phone, Kamath suggested a formal shirt, while Harris thought a jacket would be more suitable. But as people trickled in, it was evident that the unsaid official dress code was in fact floral shirts and shorts while the speakers on the panel chose simple shirts and trousers to suit the sultry Goa weather.
