At the Saifai Mahotsav last week, Yadav said that when Hindi film actor Priyanka Chopra was a student in Bareilly, her father was posted in the Army and he (Yadav) was the defence minister. Yadav had blessed her and said that one day, she would become "a top heroine" in Bollywood. "My blessing helped her become what she is today," Yadav added.
