ICICIdirect Centre for Financial Learning, an initiative of ICICI Securities, has launched E-Learn, an online platform to educate investors.

E-Learn programmes are hosted on a cloud-based learning management system, which helps consumers track their progress and undertake self-assessment on a regular basis. E-Learn offers two programmes — Gateway to stock investing, which is designed for beginners who want to get practical knowledge, and Gateway to Futures & Options. The latter is for the more savvy investors who are looking at trading in derivatives.

The programme starts with basic investing concepts, helps learners understand the process of stock selection and avoid common mistakes made in investing.

The fees charged for the programme is Rs 949, whereas for the derivatives package it is Rs 1,249. This is valid for only two months, after which one has to renew the package. During this period, one can use the programme as and when required.

“E-Learn is our latest initiative to simplify investing and reach out to more learners. Anyone, even if they are not customers of ICICIdirect, can participate in these programmes,” says Neeraj Joshi, head of the Centre.

To use these programmes, one has to get registered on the company website by making an online payment or by visiting any ICICIdirect branch to register offline.
