For instance, the performance of Falguni Pathak and her group Ta-Thaiya, which is performing at Goregaon Sports Complex has been insured for Rs 4.18 crore.
Future Generali India Insurance Company has insured the event,which is being organised by Mangal Entertainment Private Limited and 3rd Rock Multimedia, is organising the event, which will be held between October 16 and 24.
Along with Falguni Pathak, Future Generali has also insured "O" Mega Dandia 2012 at Police Parade Grounds organized by Vgeneration Entertainment for a sum insured of Rs 2.08 crore and Somaiya Ground Navratri Utsav 2012 organized by Shree Samarth Ekta Group, insured for total sum insured of Rs 1.6 crore. Both these events will be held in Mumbai.
Along with dandiya, Future Generali has also insured Durga Pooja, organised by Lokhandwala Complex Sarbojanin Durgotsav Committee (PT), to beheld at Andheri, Mumbai, said a press release issued by the company.
Easwara Narayanan, Chief Operating Officer, Future Generali India Insurance said, “With celebration of festivals like Ganesh Chathurti and Navratri assuming an altogether different dimension and scale, with large pandals and celebrity performances, the risk perspectives appear too big to ignore.”
