Though the membership drive has been on since last year, it gained momentum after the 'Main Bhi Aam Aadmi' campaign through which the party plans to enroll one crore members nationwide by January 26. AAP had decided to waive the Rs 10 membership fee when the campaign started.
"Only yesterday we witnessed around 4,300 people enrolling for the party membership. I think there would be more than 100,000 members from Indore alone by January 26," said AAP Indore member Yuvraj Singh.

AAP members said people are joining the party by all methods like online registration, calling the given number and also by visiting AAP's office and kiosks created for membership at various places in the city. Also, the membership drive is attracting people from all walks of life like students, teachers, professionals, auto drivers etc, said AAP members.
The party is also organizing Swaraj Yatra for Indore zone which will start from January 12, 2014. Swaraj Yatra will be organized at various places like Badwani, Jhabua, Dhar, Alirajpur, Ratlam, Neemuch, Mandsaur, Agar, Ujjain and Indore. In Indore, the Swaraj Yatra will be organized on January 18 at Krishnapura Chhatris.
