On being asked if he would continue to remain with the party, Binny told Business Standard , “When did I separate from the party? I continue to work with the party and would do so.”
Sources in the Aam Aadmi Party said on Tuesday that the cabinet was likely to consist of former journalists Manish Sisodia and Rakhi Birla; Saurabh Bhardwaj, an engineer; Somnath Bharti, a lawyer; Girish Soni, a businessman; and Satyandra Jain, an architect. However, Binny's name, which was doing the rounds was not there. According to reports, upset over this, party workers gathered at Arvind Kejriwal's residence late evening on Tuesday to convince Binny to take up the post of parliamentary secretary to the chief minister.

Binny, however, said: “I am not upset at all. All these are rumours.” But he did not deny the fact that a press conference could be held later in the day. He said, “You would get to know the place and time (of the presser) soon.”
Unconfirmed TV channel reports had said that Binny had stormed out of the meeting held at the residence of Delhi's next chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, in the presence of senior leaders Yogendra Yadav and Manish Sisodia.
Sisodia had said that he was not aware if Binny was upset. “I don't know if Binny is angry. He did not say anything during his meeting with Arvind Kejriwal,” the AAP leader had told reporters after coming out of Kejriwal's residence.
Binny had defeated one of the strong candidates -- Delhi's former health minister A K Walia -- in the Laxmi Nagar constituency by around 8,000 votes. The AAP MLA was associated with the Congress earlier and had quit the party to join Kejriwal and team in the Jan Lok Pal movement in 2011.
