Terming the Tamil Nadu goverment as "anti-women" DMK leader M K Stalin today alleged that crime against women in the state has increased by several folds.

Addressing a series of way-side meetigs as part of his 'namakku namee' (self reliance) programme, he said during the AIDMK regime 380 women had died due to dowry harassment. The development schemes that were introduced during the DMK regime had been deliberately left on the back burner.

He assured the women that the DMK would close liquor shops. "That will be the first file the DMK government will sign," he said.
