Meanwhile, ministers and legislators belonging to Andhra and Rayalaseema regions submitted affidavits to the Speaker opposing state's bifurcation and rejecting the Bill.

On the other hand, chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, who feels the Bill is full of flaws, said he would quit politics if the Bill was introduced in Parliament “as it is”.
Last week, Reddy issued a notice to the Speaker seeking to move a resolution in the Assembly to reject the Bill and return it to the Centre.
