On a day top leaders from the grand secular alliance assembled here to address 'Swabhiman Rally' to counter the NDA, RJD president Lalu Prasad today attacked the BJP on social media saying it "will face a debacle worse than Delhi" in the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections.

"The public is outraged over non-keeping of promises by the BJP (on) corruption, unemployment and inflation. BJP will face a debacle worse than Delhi. We will break its arrogance to pieces," Prasad posted on social media platforms.

He asserted that the people of Bihar have made up their minds to chase away BJP from the state.

Referring to the crowd of supporters of the 'grand secular alliance' who gathered at the Gandhi Maidan, the venue of today's Swabhiman Rally, Prasad said it was a testimony to the determination of the people of the state.

"The BJP has got a heart attack after noticing Gandhi Maidan teeming with people brimming with enthusiasm," he said.

Prasad also hit out at the 'DNA remark' by PM Narendra Modi against Kumar during his Muzaffarpur rally last month.

The RJD supremo said the people of the state would make BJP understand that "they are not buyable" and in an apparent reference to Modi, said any "outsider with blood of a businessman in his veins" would not be allowed to insult them.

"Good 'sanskara' (habits) course through our veins. Good 'sanskaras' are in our DNA. In our state we call even poor rickshaw-pullers with respect. We will not allow any outsider, who has blood of a businessman in his veins, try to insult us," Prasad added.
