China will soon provide assistance totalling 80 million yuan ($13 million), including two mobile hospitals, to the Nepal Army.
Vice Chief of the General Staff of the People's Liberation Army, Lt Gen Wang Guanzhong, who is on an official visit to Nepal, today informed the Nepal Army chief Gen Gaurav Shumsher Rana about the assistance.
Wang met Rana at the Nepal Army headquarters here.

He said the Chinese Army will soon provide two mobile hospitals worth 50 million yuan to Nepal. He also assured Rana that additional assistance worth 30 million yuan would be provided, according to a military statement.
Rana expressed gratitude to Wang for the assistance.
During the meeting, they discussed cooperation and relations between the two armies. Wang appreciated the active role of the Nepal Army in the national and international arena.
Nepal Army believes that these visits will strengthen relations between the two sides and deepen friendship between the two countries, the statement said.
