Affirming his government's commitment to pass the Anti-Superstition and Black Magic Bill in winter session of Legislature beginning next week, Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan today said talks are still on with those opposing the long-pending legislation.

"The state government is committed to pass the Anti-Superstition and Black Magic Bill in the upcoming winter session in Nagpur," Chavan said after inaugurating the statewide conference on ordinance against superstition and black magic here.

For the smooth implementation of the Bill, the government has also decided to appoint vigilance officers in the state, he said.
