DMK and its alliance parties today walked out of the Budget session of the Tamil Nadu Assembly alleging that certain traditions over budget were not being maintained.

Citing a press release in which the government had said the House would meet at 10 AM on February 13, DMK's Legislative Assembly Leader M K Stalin said it was again changed to 11 AM the same day.

Talking to reporters outside the Assembly, he said, it would not be appropriate for DMK to be present in the Assembly, when government is not willing to look into its "shortcomings."
