Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi was criticised for skipping the first part of the Budget session of Parliament. On Monday, he returned to the House. Correction

In the original report, there was an error in calculating the growth rate in credit for agriculture during the 10-year regime of the United Progressive Alliance government from 2004-05 to 2013-14. The credit flow to the agriculture sector in 2003-04 was estimated Rs 86,981 crore and it went up to Rs 7.31 lakh crore in 2013-14, showing a growth rate of 740 per cent. Congress Vice-president Rahul Gandhi had stated that total credit to agriculture grew by 700 per cent in the UPA period. The error is regretted, and has been corrected.
