Aam Aadmi party's candidate from Chandigarh Lok Sabha seat Savita Bhatti today said that fight against corruption and related issues will be her priority.
"Rampant corruption in different spheres has made the life of common man miserable. Like my party, my fight will be against corruption. I will also fight for the common man, whose voice often remains unheard," Bhatti, the widow of late comedian-actor Jaspal Bhatti said.
AAP yesterday, in the third list of candidates for 20 Lok Sabha seats, declared Savita Bhatti its choice from Chandigarh. She is second woman candidate contesting from the constituency after BSP's Jannat Jahan.

Two main parties - the Congress and the BJP are yet to announce their candidate for the seat, which is at present represented by Congress' Pawan Kumar Bansal.
"My late husband's work always had the woes faced by the common man at the forefront. Now as AAP has given me the platform, I will continue to do that," she said.
"Bhatti Sahab fought against corruption throughout his life. It is only due to his anti-corruption campaign that I have been given the ticket," 52-year-old Savita said.
Jaspal Bhatti, known for his satirical street shows on social issues, died in a car accident in October 2012.
