The Goa State legislative Assembly session will begin here from tomorrow which will have half a dozen government bills and more than a thousand questioned tabled by the legislators.

The six working day long session will begin tomorrow at 11.30 am with a Question Hour. Legislature Secretary N B Subhedar stated that 1,088 questions are tabled by various legislators, which would be replied during the session to be held from October 9-18.

One of the most awaited reports probing the nexus between politicians-policemen and drug paddlers would be tabled during the session by a House Committee headed by Francisco Miccky Pacheco. The probe is centered around the role played by former state Home Minister Ravi Naik's son, Roy, into the drug peddling activity as alleged by two foreign women - Swedish model Lucky Farmhouse and British national Fiona Mackeown.

Another highlight of the session would be the bill giving protection to the private medical practitioners and amendment to Goa Cooperative Society Act, would be tabled and discussed during the session. The legislature wing stated that total 1,088 questions have been tabled by the legislators. Interestingly, BJP legislator Vishnu Surya Wagh, who was amongst those asking maximum questions, has not asked a single question this time around.
