Gujarat government today invited investors and industrialists from Uttar Pradesh to participate in its global business summit 'Vibrant Gujarat 2015'.
The seventh edition of the summit would be held during January 11-13, 2015 in Gandhinagar.
A Gujarat government delegation led by senior cabinet minister Ramanlal Vora and principal secretary (ports and transport) Raj Gopal held an interactive session with UP industrialists and businessmen to showcase the state as an ideal investment destination.
Vora stressed Gujarat offered the best business environment in the country, including uninterrupted power supply, roads, law and order, ports, enabling policies, corruption free bureaucracy etc.
A major advantage with the state had been the political stability and a stable regime over the last 25 years, he observed.
Vora said Gujarat government believed in providing a conducive business environment to industrialists spanning all key sectors rather than promising mere incentives and sops to attract industry.

Meanwhile, Gopal said the concept of Vibrant Gujarat had metamorphosed from being a forum to invite investment in Gujarat to a platform to facilitate industry-to-industry and industry-to-government interactions.
In 2013, delegations from 121 countries had participated in Vibrant Gujarat with the number of foreign participants standing at 2,100. Besides, the summit also attracted 58,000 participants from across India.
Vora informed similar industry interactions were being held in other state capitals as well to invite local industrialists to the global summit.
UP Inc was apprised that Gujarat was in the process of announcing a new Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) policy to further boost the sector. UP is a large MSME hub with over 3 million units from the segment operating in the state.
