The budget session of the Himachal Pradesh assembly will be held from Feb 3 to 21 in the state capital with no break, an official said here Thursday.
Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, who also holds the finance portfolio, will present the 2014-15 budget Feb 7, said the official. This will be his 17th budget.
Official sources said the session, with 14 sittings, has been advanced by a month keeping in view the enforcement of the election code of conduct for the Lok Sabha elections, which could come into effect from March.
Normally, the budget session is held in first week of March and continues till April, with a week-long break.
