Home minister Rajnath says situation under control in Saharanpur

Home Minister Rajnath Singh said Monday that the situation was under control in Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh where three people have been killed in communal violence.

"The situation is fully under control in Saharanpur. We are keeping a close vigil," Rajnath Singh told reporters here.

The violence was triggered by a land dispute between Muslims and Sikhs in Saharanpur city Saturday.
