Addressing a press conference at his residence today, he reiterated to honour all the promises made by his government in 2013.
While giving a gift to 40 lakh domestic electricity consumers in the election year in the State, Hooda announced to give relief of Rs 200 per bill to each of urban and rural domestic consumers consuming less than 1,600 units of electricity bi-monthly in the State. Apart from this there would be no change in the power tariff for the year 2014-15. Hooda said that the Pillar Box system for the electricity consumers is a voluntary scheme under which those electricity consumers who would pay their bills on time would get round the clock supply of electricity. Apart from this, a provision for rebate of upto 30 per cent in the electricity bill would also be made. Hooda said that now, the electricity consumers would also be able to register their complaints through SMS and their complaints would be promptly redressed.

Hooda said that the State Government has started the process of giving 65,000 jobs to the youth in the State. Besides, 200,000 more job opportunities would be created in other sectors. Hooda said that as many as 15,041 posts would soon be filled up to clear the back log of posts meant for scheduled castes and backward classes. Apart from this, the backlog of posts reserved for ex-servicemen is also being cleared. The women applicants would also be given rebate of 50 per cent in application fee for government jobs, added Hooda.
The Chief Minister said that the ‘Mukhyamantri Muft Ilaj Yojna’ is being implemented in the State from Jaunary 1, 2014. Under this scheme, operation facilities, lab tests, medicines, dental treatment and emergency ambulance service would be provided to the patients free of cost. He said that the enhanced pension of Rs. 1000 would be given to the senior citizens, widows and physically handicapped from January 1, 2014.
Hooda said that inclusive development has been ensured in the State and gave detail of district wise development projects undertaken by the State Government to support his claim.
