Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday launched a scathing attack on the opposition parties for frequent disruptions in the Monsoon Session of Parliament, saying the people of the country would not forgive them for their conduct.
"The people of India will not forgive some of the parties for their conduct in the Parliament. Ideals of democracy were not respected.
Why are some people doing this, just for their arrogance? There can be nothing more unfortunate than this," he said while addressing a rally here.
"Beyond the Lok Sabha is the Jan Sabha and that is why I am expressing my views here in front of you," he added.
The GST Bill could not be passed during the Monsoon Session of Parliament due to the frequent disruptions over the Lalit Modi row and Vyapam scam.
