Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi on Wednesday praised the party patriarch LK Advani saying he is the mentor and guide of all BJP leaders and workers.
Modi also expressed confidence that Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will secure a third term in office.
He went on to add that in view of the work done by the Madhya Pradesh government, there cannot be a better tribute to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay.

"He has worked tirelessly for the upliftment of the poor. He has fulfilled his promises to his people. It is because of Chouhan that the Congress is talking of inclusive growth," the Gujarat Chief Minister said.
The Hindutva poster boy gave a clarion call to all electorate to throw out the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance government from the Centre in the next Lok Sabha polls.
"We still have to fulfil Mahatma Gandhi's wish, his dream, his wish was to free country from Congress's rule," he said.
"After Shivrajji retains power in November, we will form the government at the Centre under Modiji's leadership next year," Arum Jaitely he said, while addressing the BJP's 'Karyakarta Mahakumbh' rally.
Jaitley, who is the Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha, also highlighted the rampant corruption and inflation under the UPA government to prove his point.
BJP chief Rajnath Singh also criticised the Congress party, accusing it of resorting to lies to embroil RSS in Ajmer blasts case.
"Ajmer blast accused Bhavesh Patel has made a statement that the Home Minister and a former Chief Minister of the state, who is also a Congress general secretary, had asked him to name RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and Indresh Kumar in the blasts case," he said.
He said that BJP has now become a "bigger party than Congress" and it will win 2013 Assembly polls in Madhya Pradesh and the general elections in 2014 irrespective of "how many lies Congress resorts to."
Advani and Modi shared the stage for the first time after the declaration of the party's prime ministerial candidate but a feeling of warmth was missing as they exchanged greetings.
Advani, who had objected the anointment of Modi as the party's prime ministerial candidate and later appeared to have reconciled to it, presented bouquets to Modi and Chouhan.
While he was prompt in reciprocating Chouhan touching his feet as a mark of respect, the patriarch gave a cold response when Modi bent to seek his blessings. He merely folded his hands without looking at the BJP's PM-hopeful.
