She termed Saturday's meeting of the national council as unfortunate and said,
"I have always maintained that AAP's processes were not proper. We condemn today's incident, it was unfortunate. Many state units want me to take a tough stand. I never accepted any position of the party but as senior member and an activist the disappointment is there."

She said, "Prashant Bhushan fought against various corruption scandals helped strengthen the anti-corruption movement in the country.Yogendra Yadav has reached the farmers and people at the grass-root level and have supported them.I don't know of any instance where they have done anti-party activities.I would not want to level any charges against the Aam Aadmi Party either. It is sad that the infighting of the party has come to the forefront."
Meanwhile, Yogendra Yadav called his and Bhushan's ouster a "murder of democracy", as he stepped out of the party’s National Council meeting earlier in the day.
