The members of the Congress also kept on insisting their demand for a discussion on a book titled 'Vyapam ka Sach' (MPPEB's truth) and alleged irregularities in the transport constable recruitment examination.
Senior member of the Congress Ram Niwas Rawat raised the issue during zero hour. He demanded discussion on MPPEB scam (also known as Vyapam Ghotala) under rule 52.
Rawat said more than 1,500 appointments through the board have been cancelled and hundreds of accused have been arrested and hence a debate should be initiated.
He also demanded to know the status on a notice on breach of privilege motion against Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on the issue of the 'Vyapam ka Sach' published by the BJP.
Leader of the Opposition Satyadev Katare said that it was necessary for opposition to know how a secret note-sheet of the state Assembly got published in the booklet (Vyapam Ka Sach).
Though Speaker said that he was examining the merit of the notice and will give his ruling on Tuesday, Rawat, Katare and other members maintained that their demand should be given priority over other proceedings and that the list of selected candidates on the posts of transport constables through the MPPEB, should be tabled and discussion should be initiated.
Other members Umang Singhar also raised the same issue while Sundarlal Tiwari of Congress kept on disrupting the proceedings of call attention motion despite Speaker's warning to take stern action.
