No permanent enemy, friend in politics: SC

During a hearing on the petition by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) challenging the imposition of President’s Rule in Delhi, the Supreme Court (SC) on Friday observed “In India the situation can change. The same party can support and the same party can oppose.” The formation of the AAP government in Delhi with the support of the Congress, which later joined hands with the Bharatiya Janata Party in opposing the AAP on the Jan Lokpal Bill issue, demonstrated there were no permanent enemies or friends in politics, it said.
