None-of-the-Above votes cast in 2013 Assembly elections across four polls
BS Reporter The None-of-the-Above (NOTA) option, introduced by the Election Commission for the first time in the 2013 Assembly elections, saw 1.285 million people exercising this right across four polls. The share of NOTA in total votes was the highest in Rajasthan (1.92 per cent), followed by Madhya Pradesh (1.90 per cent) this year. However, in absolute terms, the numbers were more in Madhya Pradesh than in Rajasthan.
