Congress president Sonia Gandhi would be on a one-day-visit to her Parliamentary constituency for the first time after winning the Lok Sabha elections on June 13.

The Congress president's local representative K L Sharma said here today that during her visit she would express gratitude towards the people for ensuring her victory and hold a meeting with the party workers.

He said preparations have been started for Gandhi's visit.
