The ruling Trinamool Congress in West Bengal today ridiculed the change of guard in the state Congress leadership, saying that the party would find it hard to find people to carry its signboard.

"The Congress, in days to come, will find it hard to find supporters to even carry the party signboard. The people of Bengal will give them a fitting reply," TMC leader Partha Chatterjee said.

"It is the Murshidabad Congress now. It hardly matters whoever takes charge," Chatterjee said in a dig at Adhir Chowdhury, who is also the Murshidabad district Congress president as also Congress legislative party leader Mohammed Sohrab, who is also from the district.
